Care instructions for cashmere are important to maintain the softness and longevity of the luxury fabric. You should avoid cleaning unless it is absolutely necessary. Frequent washing not only damages the fine natural fibers, but also pollutes the environment. It is often enough to air out the cashmere in fresh air.
When cleaning, we recommend using special cashmere or wool detergent. Washing by hand or cold in the machine at a low speed is perfect. Special wool washing cycles up to a maximum of 30 degrees are suitable. After washing, lay it flat on a towel. Hanging up can cause the cashmere product to warp and lose its shape. Although cashmere is not prone to severe pilling, pilling cannot generally be avoided with natural fibers. After drying, small nodules may have formed. These can be easily removed with a special cashmere comb.
